Aprilanne Hurley recently wrapped California Living’s Season 7 airing primetime Bay Area wide.  Current multi-media events include the launch of 2 new websites, CA Insider.com - “Your Insider’s Guide to California Living,” and  HeroesHappen.com - “Find the Hero in You” - a unique “Volunteer Opportunity Match-Making” site providing “lifestyle friendly” opportunities and volunteer suggestions for people looking to give back to their community through volunteerism.

Hurley’s  recent launch of two on-air Public Awareness TV Campaigns encouraging the community to “Be Prepared” for Disasters and get out and “Volunteer” are also creating a buzz in the community…”These campaigns speak from my heart,” Hurley smiles, noting, “while I’m the first person to rave on and on about how much fun it is to live in California - there really is a serious side to my nature and a desire to shine the “spotlight” on the wonderful community programs available for people to get involved with.”    

Hurley reveals “while I’m not going to give it away just yet - there are also great things in the works for California Livings Season 8 - it’s destine to be our best season yet!”

A little history/background:

Aprilanne Hurley was - “MADE IN CALIFORNIA” - Since 1991, Hurley has been producing commercials, Public Service Announcements, and Award Winning News Features.  Before INSIDE LOOK TV, LLC,™ and California Living,™ Hurley spent 3 years as an on-camera Reporter for the “Marin Report,” a Cable News Magazine Show focusing on issues and topics involving Marin County and surrounding communities.

Hurley completed her training with the Broadcast Production Program at Stanford University, CA, and interned with CNN America, San Francisco, during which she gained invaluable experience in the field - and has been specializing in Broadcast Production ever since.

Hurley’s ultimate goal in life is to help people live healthy, happy lives and enjoy living through innovative lifestyle TV Specials aimed to inspire viewers to try new life experiences, and take action to make behavioural modifications as they pertain to living healthier lives through diet, nutrition, enjoyment, and exercise. 

The second oldest of 11 children, Hurley relocated to California from the East Coast 20 years ago and now considers the Golden State her home. “We’re so lucky living here in California, we have great weather, beautiful views everywhere you look, and of course the relaxed California lifestyle, which is what “California Living” is all about! Hurley resides in amazing Northern California with her husband and 2 children - and their extended family of pets: Dakota & Snowball - twin, 2 year old lambs, and their “Pretty Mamma” a 5 year old yew; “Hunter” an 8 year old black lab, Booda and Friday Jr. (2 cats), and the latest additions to their brood: Rosie, Roxy, and Gracie - 3 incredibly sweet backyard hens and “Big Red” a wild and crazy Rooster - all of which Hurley has been raising since they were a week old.

“We starting getting eggs this past September” - Hurley adds - “and the funny thing is…I don’t even like eggs,” but these chickens are just so adorable and make us laugh a lot - they really make great pets!”

Hurley feels fortunate to live in Marin, which was recently reported the healthiest county to live in California - “think about it “Hurley beams, ” just a short drive in any direction takes you to the incredible Napa Valley Wine Country, West Marin and the California Coastline, beautiful Sonoma County, San Fransisco, SF Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge - the list of great places to go and fun things to do and see is virtually endless!”
